Reclaimed Copper Pipe Patina Earrings
This beautiful pair of earrings is made from reclaimed copper pipe that was cut, worked on an anvil, and colored using various chemical and heat techniques. After a bit more shaping, I then sand down the edges to make the original copper color pop and coat with epoxy. Finally the copper hoops and hooks are added.
These earings measure 1.44" long x 0.3" wide and are .03" thick, (not including hook wire), and they are very light at less than 0.1 oz each.
Every piece of jewelry I make is hand made and is a one of a kind piece. I aim to use as much reclaimed and recycled material as I can in each piece and I use the most environmentally friendly chemicals and finishes possible. So you can be assured that you are getting a piece of jewelry that is both beautiful and unique as well as environmentally friendly.
